"To the bone."

I'm a big fan of this author's series, The Club Girl Diaries. I strongly encourage you to read the first two books of that series, Harmony & Chelsea, before starting Blizzard. They are heavily intertwined and it would be difficult for you to get the full picture without that prior knowledge. I understand why they are being separated as each series is focused on either a male or female, however; the characters are in both and the sequence of events are better understood if read as they occur rather than by series order. Was that as clear as mud? Personally, I read them out of order, and I still enjoyed them. But I thought I'd give you a heads up, thinking that you'd rather experience the anticipation of the outcome rather than accidentally finding out details through another character's experiences. No matter what order you read them in, I'm sure you will love them all as I did. There's a very strong family vibe that you get from the Brothers of Blood MC and their women. Whether they be current, previous, or future club girls, they are all strong women that challenge the brothers while at the same time bringing something special to the club. As each one is highlighted as the series progresses, the deeper I fall. I've become very attached to these fictional characters. As I learn about their painful pasts and share in their introduction and acceptance into the MC family, I further appreciate the strong bond that the brothers have with each other and their women and children. I'm hoping that both series will continue to grow for a long time to come.
Blizzard is the club VP. He's also best friends with the president, Optimus. Though he is respectful of the authority, he still has a relaxed relationship with the president, and their witty banter is amusing. Especially since Optimus has already fallen for a club girl and therefore is on the receiving end of some harmless teasing among the men regarding who has the balls in their relationship. As you will learn from reading a previous book, Blizzard was deceived by Rose and therefore has some serious trust issues when that experience was added to his already overflowing pile of disappointment in the parental department. He's decided that his club brothers are the only ones he can depend on, and trust with his heart. He had decided to lock it up tight, but a certain little princess forced him to let her in. She was irresistible and he wasn't the only one she had wrapped around her little finger. I joined the party too.
Rose is devastated by her own behavior. She thought she was doing what was right, but she was wrong. Her choices cost her everything. All she'd ever wanted was a family to love and in search of that, she lost the one she didn't even realize she had. How can she expect them to forgive her when she can't even forgive herself? She's decided that in order to prove her heart is in the right place, she will sacrifice herself to help them. It's not like she is worried about getting hurt, she's already hurting. Maybe they will see that she truly cares and give her a second chance, especially him. He's the one she's missing the most. He's the one that visits her in her dreams, reminding her of what she walked away from.
Blizzard is exciting and suspenseful, while at the same time full of sorrow and sweetness. I was laughing one minute, and sighing the next. I worried and waited for the story to go where I wanted it to, and then ended up being taken where I least expected it to go. The author gave me a glimpse into some other situations and a peek at some possible relationships, just snickering as she reeled me in. Knowing that I would be intrigued and dying with anticipation as I waited for the next installment to answer all my questions. The line forms here...

Oh what can I say about Blizzard? Ruff around the edges, alpha male, hard headed but with a heart to love and protect what's his! I am crushing on Blizzard for sure! What a lucky lady Rose is! Really loved this book! 5*'s!

Totally addicted now

Read this book that in one sitting. I spent my entire day off with the Brothers and I loved every second and of it.
Such clever writing, every word fit perfectly. Every line made sense. The whole that ng just fit. I am truly going to miss this series.
